FEATURES OF BUENAS 299 F1 Based on Natianal Cooperative Test (NCT) data.

SEEDBED PREPARATION

Measure the seedbed area using these recommendations:

  • 60m² - 80m² per 3 kilograms of Buenas 299 F1

  • 300m² - 400m² for 15 kilograms of Buenas 299 F1 (1 hectare)

You may spread 3 bags of carbonized rice hull on the seedbed to make uprooting the seedlings easier.

SEED PREPARATION

  1. Soak the seeds in clean water for 24 hours.

    • Change the water every 6 hours to prevent it from becoming sour (fermenting).

  2. Incubate the seeds for 36 - 48 hours until the roots appear (radicle emergence).

    • Ensure the seeds are moist and can breathe while incubating.

  3. Broadcast the germinated seeds (those with emerged roots) onto the prepared seedbed.

FERTILIZER FOR THE SEEDBED

Fertilizer Recommendations for the Seedbed (300m² - 400m² per hectare)

FERTILIZER APPLICATION METHOD

OTHER RECOMMENDATION (USING EN-BIO)

Follow the recommendation of Enviro Scope Synergy Inc for the Rice package of technology (P.O.T.). Also use En-Bio Liquid Biofertilizer, which can save up to 30% on the use of chemical fertilizer (NPK) for a more abundant harvest.

HARVESTING

Harvest the rice after 107 days or when 90%-95% of the rice grains are mature/ripe.
